An experimental evening livestream class will be presented.
The NYC Dojo will offer an experimental livestream of the 6PM Adult General Class and the 7PM Kata Class (Adults) tomorrow, Monday, August 15th. Both classes will be taught by Sensei at the NYC Dojo, but will allow any livestream-enabled student to particpate in either or both classes.
In addition, because of scheduling conflicts, the 2PM Adult General Class and its associated livestream (from both Honbu and the NYC Dojo) will be canceled. The class will return at its regularly-scheduled time next week. Please remember to consult the Today@Goju real-time class schedule here for constantly updated changes to schedules at the NYC Dojo, Honbu Dojo, and on livestream.
GASSHUKU Note: While the NYC Dojo and Honbu are closed during Gassuku, there will be a 2PM Adult General Class on both Wednesday, August 17th, and Friday, August 19th. On both days, the class will originate from Honbu, and is only available via livestream.
Permanent Evening Livestream Class Coming Soon
While plans are still in the early stages of scheduling, at least one evening (eastern time) adult class will soon make its way onto the permanent schedule, livestreamed from either or both the NYC Dojo and Honbu.
Monday evening's adult classes will give the dojo the opportunity to test the format and operation of evening classes in preparation of making permanent additions to the class schedule. We'll also be offering a student survey shortly to gather information on optimum days and times for livestream evening classes but in the meantime, feel free to let the Front Desk at the NYC Dojo know your preferences on scheduling.
