Gasshuku is the traditional Summer holiday observed by dojo throughout the world. It serves as a time for the entire dojo to prepare for what is usually the busiest time of year: Autumn and Winter.
For Goju Karate, Gasshuku 2023 begins on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, and continues to Wednesday, August 23th, 2023. No classes will be held, and the dojo will be closed for all events during that time.
Regular classes resume on Friday, August 26th, 2023.
Please use this time to begin planning your Autumn training – Blackbelt Week will be upon us before you know it, and this Fall will bring seminars and the annual Tameshiwari Tournament as well.
