The dojo is excited to celebrate the Christmas and New Year's Holidays as 2024 draws to a close and we prepare for an amazing 2025.
What an amazing year 2024 has been!
This was the year that the dojo finally took the big leap and opened our new facility at 714 Lexington Avenue. Thanks to the hard work and support of our wonderful dojo community, the move was made with minimal disruption to our schedule.
This year also saw a wide range of events, seminars, and rank tests, and the introduction of new livestream classes and the continued success of our Mentor program.
The dojo website, GOJUKARATE.COM, which had a major upgrade in 2022, produced a torrent of new content and features throughout all of 2024. More than a 150 articles on karatedō concepts alone have been published!
And most importantly, our students literally circle the globe in classes held on the dojo floor and via livestream worldwide.
This year has brought our dojo so much to celebrate.
As 2024 winds-down, Sensei, all the instructors and assistant instructors, the front desk staff, and all Goju blackbelts wish you and your family the most magical of holidays and share their hopes for an even more successful 2025.
This year, the Dojo will be closed from Friday, December 20th, 2024, to Saturday, January 4th, 2025. No classes, including livestream classes, will be held on those days.
Regular class schedules will resume on Monday, January 6th, 2025.
To see the complete event calendar, please visit the Dojo Calendar. (The 2025 Calendar will be announced in the coming weeks – stay tuned for that announcement in your email inbox and on GOJUKARATE.COM)
Please spend this holiday time with your family and close friends – it will be time well-spent and you'll return to your karatedo training refreshed and ready for the start of the new year!
